This photo appeared in the September 1964 issue of "The Ring" magazine. The caption read:
"George Two Ton Harris loses his curly locks. Johnny Weaver defeated him with a sleeper hold. Harris had bet that he would allow his hair to be cut off if Weaver could beat him. Those are the bald facts."

This photograph was shot directly off a black and white TV screen, circa 1964. Johnny Weaver is being interviewed at ringside by wrestling host (and Charlotte TV personality) "Big" Bill Ward.
Jim Crockett Sr. started airing live wrestling from the WBTV-3 studios in Charlotte NC in 1958. The live (and later taped) broadcasts continued until 1974 when all of Crockett's regional TV tapings were consolidated to WRAL-5 studios in Raleigh NC.
